Although working in different countries now, these sisters from India took the opportunity to reconnect in person and with Ann Marie Quinn PBVM.

After a safe journey by sea to cast roses on the water in memory of the first Presentation Sisters to arrive in Newfoundland, today's Sisters blessed the boat.

As each name was called out, a rose was scattered out onto the sparkling seas off the coast of St John's in Newfoundland & Labrador.

Most of the work of the Assembly was achieved through deep discussion, prayer and contemplation in this conference room.

Nano Nagle's story was brought to life through the play 'Path Through The Dark'. As it was being introduced by Roisin Gannon PBVM, we noticed these plaques in honour of the Presentation Sisters and the Sisters of Mercy on the back of the theatre seats.

Sandy Butler PBVM, Eleanor Surgrue PBVM and Eleanor O'Gorman PBVM each plant a seed. All attendees planted a seed during the closing ceremony, to represent the seeding of ideas.

We held a caption competition for this photo, and the winning caption was: 'Our hearts are filled with joy and wonder, we wish you could savour it.'
