The Climate Has No Borders

Care of the Earth is one of the key priority actions of the IPA. In November 2021, a global climate summit called COP26, will take place in Scotland. COP stands for ‘Conference of the Parties’, and this is the 26th such event organised by the United Nations. The UK is President, in partnership with Italy.

Climate change has gone from being a fringe issue to a global priority in the decades since these conferences first began. IPA Justice Contacts around the world have seen first-hand the devastating consequences of climate change. They, and Dr Despoina Afroditi Milaki, our NGO Representative at the UN, will be watching carefully to see what commitments will be made for the future of our planet. COP26 will take place in Glasgow, from 1-12 November.
